since I can never remember from month to month exactly where I'm measuring my waist, starting this month my waist measurement is officially defined as the average between the measurement taken directly over my belly button and the measurement taken over the tire two inches below my belly button. The narrowest part of my torso is just below my rib cage, but that measurement only allows for continued denial of the fat accrual in lower regions. Now that I have a standard measurement, I have less ability to fudge the numbers. On the flip side, any future success can be enjoyed as authentic.
