unseasonably warm temps (60 F) and nothing left of my cold but a little cough resulted in finally hitting the pavement for my first run of the new year. Actually ran some make shift trails through deserted coal fields and introduced my brand new running shoes to some fun mud and yuck. Did a little off roading as well and picked up some friends.
Fortunately the little burrs weren't prickly enough to go through my running pants, but they sure are buggers to get off. Had a pretty good time for being out of shape.
